Mottili Theatre
The Mottili puppetheatre was founded in 2017 in Berlin.
With the interplay of analogue projections, puppetry, kinetic art and sound it is creating illusions, that reflect on our dreams and realities.
The Mottili Theatre stages performances, exhibits installations and produces animations for children aswell as for adults.

Crossroads - a shadow play
The 1920s, Memphis (Tennesee), Mississippi-Delta. A young plantation worker is leaving home and returns with an excellent guitar-technique, that nobody has ever heard before.
People say, that on a crossroad in Clarksdale, Mississippi he has met the devil. They say he has sold his soul to be tought the secrets of guitarplaying.
This is the legend of the Blues-guitarist Robert Johnson performed as shadowplay with kinetic silhouettes, soundcollages and life music.
With the worldwide reknown songs and the play of light and shadow a poetic blues scene comes to life again to be experienced by young and old.
Polirama - art - funfair - attraction
As part of the group "Rummel Rausch and daughters" the Polirama-wagon presents
varirous attractions. Sometimes it is a popcorn-oracle, a an exchangeoffice for peanuts, an
analogue projected peepshow or most recentlya ball toss stand!

This animated film was created as part of a holiday project at the Tempelhof-Schöneberg Youth Art School. Artist Marie Donath created this silhouette film with a group of 7- to 9-year-old children over the course of five afternoons. 2021
